What is the difference between your Amish made furniture and Polywood?
Polywood is a brand that manufactures its own poly lumber and ships ready to assemble furniture directly to customers in flat packed boxes.
Our Amish furniture is built exclusively with Tangent® Poly Lumber, a top tier material that is UV treated and made with zero surface porosity, so oils, sunscreen and mold cannot anchor to the board. That makes it exceptionally stain resistant. Our furniture is also heavier than Polywood products and arrives at your door fully assembled and ready to use.
Why is your poly furniture better than your competitors?
We have sold Creekside Amish Poly Furniture for over 14 years. Every piece is handcrafted with Tangent® Poly Lumber, stainless steel screws and stainless steel swivel plates. Our Amish builder uses more poly on each piece, which makes the furniture heavier and more resistant to harsh outdoor conditions.
Creekside will custom build your order in any color combination, and every piece is backed by a 10 year craftsmanship warranty and a 20 year warranty on the poly. It is designed to be left outside year round and to last for years.
How heavy is your furniture?
Our Adirondack chairs average around 40 lbs and our swivel gliders weigh close to 90 lbs. That weight comes from the Tangent® Poly Lumber and makes the furniture resistant to high winds, while still being easy for one or two people to move.

Can your furniture be left outside year round?
Yes. Our Amish built poly furniture is made to stay outside all year. The poly lumber does not absorb moisture, rot, splinter or rust, so it holds up through heavy rain, snow, humidity and salty coastal air.
Does the color fade in the sun?
Tangent® Poly Lumber is engineered with built in UV stabilizers that resist fading and keep the color stable over a long life. The pigment is mixed directly into the high density polyethylene during manufacturing, so the color runs from the surface all the way through the core. Most neutral colors show minimal to no fading over 20 years.
How do I clean my Amish poly furniture?
Cleaning is simple because the Tangent® Poly surface stops dirt and stains from soaking in.
Routine cleaning. Rinse with a garden hose to clear leaves and dirt. Mix a few drops of dish soap into a bucket of warm water, then scrub gently with a soft bristle brush in the direction of the wood grain texture. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and let it air dry.
Deep cleaning for mold, mildew or stubborn stains. If the furniture sits under trees or in high moisture, mold and mildew can form on the surface film, although it never penetrates the poly. Mix 1 part household bleach with 3 parts water, apply it to the affected area and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes without letting it dry. Scrub gently, then rinse thoroughly. This will not fade or discolor the Tangent® material.
What to avoid. Scouring pads, steel wool and abrasive cleaners can dull the textured finish. If you use a pressure washer, keep it below 1,500 PSI and stand at least 12 inches away.
What kind of hardware is used?
Unlike many competitors, Creekside builds exclusively with stainless steel screws, stainless steel swivel plates and aluminum swivel arms and support bars. Creekside also insets the screws on most of its products, so they are hidden from view for a cleaner finished look.
How does poly lumber compare to traditional wood?
Unlike wood, Tangent® Poly Lumber is maintenance free. It is UV treated and the color runs all the way through, so there is no yearly sanding, staining or waterproofing. It will not rot, rust or crack, and it resists fading far better than painted or stained wood.
Will Creekside Amish poly furniture fade, crack or rust?
Creekside furniture is made from premium Tangent® Poly Lumber with built in UV stabilizers that resist fading and keep the color stable over time. The poly is non porous, which prevents cracking and pitting and stops mold from attaching. All of the hardware is stainless steel, so there is nothing to rust.

How long do orders take?
In stock items are usually delivered within 1 to 3 weeks. Custom orders take our Amish builder 3 to 4 weeks to build, plus 1 to 2 weeks for shipping.
With over 400 products and more than 250 color combinations we cannot stock everything, but we always recommend ordering exactly what you want. This furniture lasts over 25 years, so it is worth the wait.
Why should I choose Creekside Amish poly furniture?
In all our years selling outdoor poly furniture, we have yet to find anything built as well as Creekside. Where competitors cut costs with lighter builds and less poly, Creekside does not. Does poly furniture get hot in the sun?
Poly lumber left in direct sun can feel warm at first, but unlike aluminum or iron it is a poor heat conductor, so the surface heat fades within 30 to 60 seconds of sitting down. Darker colors such as black, brown and dark gray run warmer, while white, light gray and tan reflect sunlight and stay noticeably cooler.
A quick spray with the hose cools it instantly. Most of our customers find their furniture comfortable year round.
Do I need cushions for your furniture?
No. Our poly furniture is surprisingly comfortable on its own. Without cushions there is nothing to bring inside when it rains, nothing to blow away in the wind and no covers to manage. It truly is maintenance free.
How do I make a warranty claim?
